Rose Parade 2012

The New York Fire Zouaves/11th New York Volunteer Infantry march in the 2012 Pasadena Rose Parade! Welcomed by the City of Pasadena, the Zouaves graciously agreed to create a Union banner in an elegant floral display of Red Remembrance Roses, White Crystal Fairy Chrysanthemums, and Blue Antique Bachelor's Buttons.

Although asked to join the President of the Pasadena Rose Parade Committee in his horse-drawn cabriolet, Colonel Ellsworth declined, stating, "I came with the Zouaves--I will march with the Zouaves!"

Huzzah!

  1. And afterward Colonel Ellsworth was reported shot in East Pasadena while driving to a local Irish pub for refreshment. Seeing an old Plymouth Dodge with a Southern Confederate Battleflag on its bumper jumped out of the car at the intersection and began to tear it off. The local Pasadena resident, resently arrived from South Carolina, looking for a job as a local disc jocky with a local radio station playing bluegrass and classical Country reportly reached for his shotgun and shot Ellsworth in the chest. Luckily, it was only a Civil War replica and only shoots "blanks." Ellsworth is reportly resting at a LA hospital with chest pains and a serious ringing in his ears.

e-mail me at: vaughnerdmann@jetemail.net. I'd really enjoy to get my hands on this template! Cheers.
